Artist Statement:
I wanted to make a playful interactive ring that you could build on like children's toy blocks. The shapes mimic the iconic profile of a faceted gemstone, and each piece connects via magnets embedded in the polymer clay. Wear just the gray ring when you're in a somber or minimalist mood. Add green for a pop of color. Or go hog wild and add all the colored gemmies, for a sideways two-way tiered cake effect.

I make mixed-material, playful, sophisticated jewelry for design lovers in my Portland, Oregon, home studio.
